PDX mini z votes:
Ken S: 1,4,6,14,15,18
Richard D: 1,2,6,13,18
Ty G: 3,4,13,14,15
also got a vote from RC Miniz on FB for 1,2,13,15,16
so that makes it, if i added up the numbers from the last few as well:
6 votes: track 18 (we must all like the high speed sweeper)
6 votes: track 15
6 votes: track 13
5 votes: track 2
4 votes: track 14
4 votes: track 6
3 vote: track 16
3 vote: track 1
2 vote: track 4
1 vote: track 3
Let's leave voting open until the end of May. We've got a good representation from most of the groups participating, but a few still haven't.

Our Club is good with any of the tracks that fit our space.

Okay, I looked at the votes, first I put 6 and 14 (5th lowest tied vote) and did a best 2 out of 3 drawing. Six won. Next I put the other four top vote getters and 6 into a random list generator and I got: 15, 6,18,13, 2. I propose that these are the tracks and the race order for season 28. So this would mean:
July: 15
August: 6
September: 18
October: 13
November: 2
Obviously it is just my word that I did this all randomly, but HFAY is successful solely on honesty, so I give my word that it was randomly generated. I also have no authority to do this and I am not one of the organizers, but I thought I would just do it to help get the ball rolling. Tri-Cities is losing our space June 15th and we have time constraints this summer, so we really need to run the July race this Sunday. We all only run the basic HFAY set up, so whatever you decide about open class doesn't really affect us. Let me know if people are okay with the track selection. In the future I would propose getting rid of the voting and have a different club each season randomly draw from the SLC list of tracks. At some point we might want to create a few new ones that meet the size constraints.

I am fine with any of the tracks, so that works for me. Can't wait to get started again.

Hi Guys, I have just been chatting with Brian and i will have a full list of info for the new season hopefully tomorrow.
Paul, I went through a similar process last night and simply chose track 14 over track 6 because 6 had been done a number of times the last couple years and 14 hadn't. so hopefully you are good with that.
The official track for July is track 13.
More info coming soon. stay tuned. Ty

I would love to see new layouts! I’ve put many years on each of the ones in circulation now and would enjoy some fresh layouts. Easy to say when i’m Not the one designing them

If someone can email me all track images, i can upload to MZR gallery so that we don’t loose them and can freely link/insert them into posts here on MZR without worrying about outside links/bandwidth/hosting fee’s, etc.

I am totally fine with that. As long as I know what track to set up, I'm good. Thanks for accommodating our rushed schedule.
