This is race two for our series. We'll be getting setup at 5 and ready to roll by 6. Racing until 8 and then the track is open for a little more driving before we break down.

We are running 5 consecutive weeks for the Winter Series. Course layout will be posted before Tuesday's race.

What do you think about this one, or did you have something else in mind?

That's a good one.

I think it will fit the space, if not we can take out a few tiles.

I think we'll do some version of HFAY Layout 6 for the next one.

I'll work that one up today and post it for next week's race.

Hey Ben, what do you want to do for the Adult Swim? Drift challenge or Monster Mash?

I think I just got my drift car working again so I might be up for that.

Im down for whatever. If my AWD doesnt break from racing, Ill drift it. I wouldnt mind running the OL and Monsters for a little bit as well...but we can just feel it out if you want.

So I got one of those Ball diffs from the place last night. Had to use two pieces from the old ball diff I had, but it worked out. Now my question is. Do you have any MR01 Motor Pods? Im gonna get that other one cuz it was a steal the price Mike gave me on that thing.

I have a couple things for your projects. A carbon H plate for 01 I found, and a semi bashed body for your "project".

Ill be at the place around 5:15 today. I wont have to skip out early tonight.

I don't know if I have any extra 01 motor pods. I'll have to check but I already have my stuff in my car and I don't think I'll be headed home before the racing.

I'll probably get there a little before 5 to chat with Mike. He is supposed to get the website info today. We'll see what he comes up with.

yeah Im not in a huge rush.

But yes, that fella I dont like got the boot...I did a little dance last night. Mike also ordered an assload of autoscales. I told him we would compile a list of parts he needs, and also help him weed through the crap he needs to put on sale.

Helping Mike with the crap parts sounds like a good idea. I can't think of too much stuff that he needs offhand, but maybe we could compile a list offline.

I wonder which autoscales he ordered? Last thing I need is more bodies.

One more thing, we should think about prizes for the series.

I meant to say he ordered Readysets...he only got a few bodies. But prizes...hmm...ptcruiser anyone?

I think we should talk him into giving away that 01 they will have in there for forever. But I doubt they will go for it...I was thinking runner up last prize would be one of those trinity or duratrax bags another tier could be one of those dynos.

I almost forgot about the bags and the dyno...

Maybe if the series gets a little more racers we could talk them into a readyset.

I was thinking along the lines of autoscale(s), batteries.

How about this
1st place chooses between autoscale, carry bag or dyno.
2nd place chooses from the two that are left
3rd place gets what's left

Everyone gets a set of rechargable batteries.

if your going to suggest purchases for the shop owner, stay away from ready sets. the profit margin is soo slim on them to begin with.

your much better going with chassis kits and an autoscale selection. or a very quick turnaround pre-order system. no one wants to fork out money to an lhs only to wait weeks or so to receive the items which has been my experience doing so.

also, have him check into the i-sseries cars. they are slightly cheaper and so far the only differnece i have heard about is they do not have the brake feature which only seems to confuse kids anway

yeah a friend of mine came down and tried all of my cars (and broke my heli) and he didnt like any of them but the 01 board in the nsx. Hated the double tap to reverse. So it confuses the 30 year old kids too.
