how to hook up iwaver light kit

hi
i just got the iwaver light kit but i dont know what is the right way to hook it up. I've had experience with other lights before and the no-brainer way to hook it up directly to the battery terminal. But am i suppose to attach this one to the motor leads? I want to have it so that the front light stays on and the rear dims when being driven. Is there a way to do that?

also, it really annoys me how there is not connector between the light kit pcb and the wires. This means i cant take off the body to work on my car

Yes, the leads connect to the PCB at the same point as the motor does.

No you can't have the front headlights stay on unless you map the board and figuer out where the circuit is for the front LEDs and wire a hot wire to it some where, the easiest would be where the wires solder to the board bypassing it.

You can take the body off, it just sits in the way. You could always do what i did with my Police R34 and buy some Deans mini plugs or other brand of mini plug and cut the leads and solder in the plugs, then you'll be able to disconnect the body from the chassis.

Ive been thinking about a way to do the same thing with the dimming lights, i have been thinking of taking an Xmods CLL kit and just re-working the plus to install as such like the Iwaver light kit. But since i dont have a Xmods CLL kit im sorta out of luck.

as of now, i installed a plug so i can take off the body completely.

if i screw it into the motor, then the lights would only come on when i give throttle. Pretty stupid in my opinion.

In my oppinion I also think that is pretty stupid . If you have lights you want them on all the time .

ok forget screwing it onto the motor leads.

Even though i have to unplug it to turn it off, and when i gun it, the light dims, i just directly attached it to the battery tabs(where the pcb gets power)

here is what it looks like
