I agree with Soulstice, we should have to run the HM motor pod for this race.. It'll just make for a more entertaining and challenging race.. I also would like to see longer mains instead of endurance events like Spoon mentioned.. We could do 8 minute qualifiers with 15 minute mains...

15 minute mains sound great, if we all do run 6 tooth gears we should get long run times.

I would be interested in doing longer mains. Maybe not enduro but 10-20 minutes.
Hey spoon, how about we combine your idea of racing a stock motor and 6 tooth with racing HM cars? Kinda killing 2 birds with 1 stone.

So I take it that everyone but me has a 90mm HM. I have a nice GTI R32 body but I would run that on the AWD. My MR-02 is 94mm RM, so that is out. I suppose I need to get another chassis (MR-015) so that I could take part in something like this. I am too broke after the 500 bux I shelled out on my AWD. Ah well, maybe one day in the future.

Well, you already have the GTI body to run, just go to the shop here and but a HM motor mount and put it on your RM chassis for the day, thats what I'm doing. You wouldnt want to buy a new chassis just for this race because its probably the only time we will run this class.

I don't think the GTI will fit on the 02. I will check but I think it is too narrow. I had a great time today! thanks for being so helpful and tolerant of a newb racer like myself. Two things I learned today. Make sure that your car is setup (well I thought mine was until all the weird crap started happening) and I need a lot more practice racing. It was great meeting all of you guys!

Correction, it is a perfect fit. Even with the RM pod it will drop right on. I will see what I can do about the HM Pod now.

I think this should be next after the Hurda Challenge. This is cool idea and should be a blast to watch us try to get around with these little cars. Rules should be the bodies you mentioned, HM mount and stock gearing. Mains should be 20 minutes and we should decide if people should be limited to narrow tires both front and rear and no body lowering. That would definitely level the field. (not to mention, keep my beautiful R32 in one piece without be having to grind the hell out of it.)

Does anyone still want 2 have this race? We can hold it in fredericksburg and I'm talking with the hobby shop in stafford about holding races there. I got 2 check out the space available 2 use but in the meantime where and when if we do have this race?
