Lol it's not what you think, but at least I have your attention.
Some of you may remember me from a couple of years back - the name's Tom. Tom Cash.
I used to race with Brian and the boys at the Stafford Mini Z Racers.
'Quite fond of the AWD series towards the end of my stint and I raced in the HFAY for a few years. I think I came first in the UK once, or at least second. Not 100% sure.
Anyway! I may be back to pick up where I left off but I have a couple of questions first.
1. Where did the HFAY website go? Do you still do that?
2. I quite want a MA010 2.4ghz - are they still competative when setup right?
3. We're still only at MR03, right?
4. If so, how does a well setup MA010 compare these days?
5. Have any new online stores popped up since early 2011?
6. Are there any vast developments I would NEED to know of since 2011? I.E, everyone has gone belt driven, or brushless is now available, etc?
6a. What's that new thing on the back of the AWD? That like an SAS setup or something?
7. What are the offsets on this baby?
I know I could Google all of this - but I like to talk and socialise. It's much nicer.
Thanks guys! Look forward to racing again.
Tom.

1. need to ask brianstank
2. for me the ma-010 traction roll a lot on rcp. and mr-03 is easier to tune. other may have different opinion.
3. yup. but a brushless version will come out end of 2012. and we do have an upgraded electronic version with tiki2.
4/5 sorry don't know
6. still the same. new motor mount from reflex and pn. new damper plate, new body, that's it.
7. +3+3
Why would I need to Ask Brian K Stanley about HFAY? I am guessing it's not running anymore?
Also, this new Brushless motor, will it run on the standard PCB?
Thanks again,
Tom.
we never stopped running HFAY, why don't you just try www.howfastareyou.com the site has been redesigned with club entry and automated scoring so times are posted quicker. there are some of the older links around that haven't been up dated. and we still need to get some of the old data added for previous seasons.

Tom.
Kyosho developed their own SAS type of system callede the DWS. Having seen it up close but not really used it i can say it looks to be a thoughtful design with camber adjustments via a type of turnbuckle.
Not sure if you've seen it but PN made an A-Arm type front suspension for the AWD as well as Atomic has their own version as well...I will soon try the Atomic version at our next GTG. The Atomic one is cheaper, seems to install a little easier but I couldnt rate one more than the other at this time.

Cheers for that info!! Think I might need to see one in RL.
