Iwaver 02m and Kyosho bodies

Hi everybody!!! That's my first post...great forum i got so many helps. But now it's my turn in asking. I'd like to buy a LM Kyosho scale body, the one with 102 mm wheelbase, and i'd like to know if it could fit on my chassis Iwaver 02m. I'm worried about the motor stay that could interfer with rear body. The body i'd like to use is one of 24H Le Mans, like Porsche 962 or Mazda 787. I wait for your reply. Thank you everybody

i think that if the iwaver rear end is anything like a miniz 02 stock rear then all you have to do is set it to a specific notch

I don't think it's going to work straight out of the box. The old iWaver/Firelap 2.0 were clones of the Kyosho MR-02, but the new models were redesigned completely.

However, you should still be able to make it work with a little modifications as long as the iWaver chassis can be extended to 102mm wheelbase. The nice thing about the 02m chassis is that it's fairly flat. It doesn't use a damper system, rather it has independent rear springs, so it shouldn't interfere with the body at all. It really comes down to whether or not the wheelbase can be extended to 102mm, and whether the Kyosho body clips will work on the iWaver.

Good luck

I have the first version of the Iwaver (similar to MR015) it will not fit because the motor is mounted on the rear... so it might fit if the motor mount was MM.

I also have the latest version of Iwaver (02M)... it will not fit also... although it can be made 102mm the steering link (which was mounted in front) will hit the low front of the Porshe LM body...
