MRCG Ship Date?
Has anyone recieved their MRCG chassis? I preordered in early Oct. when the ship date was Oct. 15. I asked TINYRC if they knew when it was going to be shipped and they told me to come here and ask. Now I see the ship date on the order page has changed to Nov. 15 which has also passed. I am not upset, just excited, and would like some new info.
Thank you,
Igy

Hi Igy,
The ship date I can't say for sure, but if you read my newest post in the preorder thread, PN (supplier of the carbon parts) says that he will have the CF parts finally on Monday. So he should be shipping the kits to TinyRC next week, and optimistically the kits should be shipping in about 2 weeks from now.
I'm excited too so I'll be providing updates as soon as I get 'em.

PN says the CF/G10 parts stock will be ready on Monday, so I just have to find a time to pick it up and put the kits together.

Hi everyone,
I paid PN a personal visit over the weekend and helped put together kits; they'll be shipping out this week to TinyRC, and then they will ship to you guys right after that!
Yes, they've been very delayed but thankfully they're here now, just in time for the holidays.
Cheers!
PS. More pics next week.

This is one of the kits, all boxed up except for the Atomic parts. Those will be included in the bigger box that you get from TinyRC. I wonder who's MRCG this will be?

Latest updates from the TinyRC shop:
As of Monday, December 15, the kits are shipping and are now in stock!
So for those who preordered, expect yours soon; and for those who were tentative about preordering, the kits are now in stock and you can purchase one anytime!

Almost look's like a pizza box! Will that be a pan-dish pizza?
Is the price on these still around $100 and will there ever be a ready to run kit available for it?

No, just a personal pan.
The price remains at $109.99, but unfortunately I don't think we have enough demand for an RTR version. I wouldn't mind custom building one or two MRCG's for customers like yourself but I'm afraid I don't have enough spare time in a day.

I think half the fun of getting this type of chassis is building it and tweaking them. There are many more adjustments that you can make compared to the MR02.

I rc'vd mine on the 26th. This thing is pretty sweet. I finally got time yesterday to put it together, and the only problem I had was I was short two 4mm taper head screws. I did have extra button heads though. I go to Tokyo Auto Salon tomorrow, and when I get back I can't wait to hit the track. I did weight it in comparison to my sons 2.4 MR02 and I am getting 144 to his 150 grams using the same batteries and no body. 178 grams with the atomic vds II body and metal gear ds285 servo.

Sorry about the missing screws, but sounds good! Let us know how you like it on the track.
