it may look like sand but it was a total letdown. Im sorry to say this but it was sorta hard foam. Also the pebbles that were on the track made the Overlands sometimes get stuck. I bet anyone on this board couldve done a better job of driving. I think they were selling tickets to drive them. The people who drove them couldnt drive for beans and the people with sticks always had to push their car or flip it back over. It was humiliating.
yea, that OL track looks pretty wicked. seems to me that it'd get boring after a while, however...
what kinda GP car is that? its friggin massive!

Actually the overland track was a lot of fun if you know how to drive them... and you are racing against someone who can drive.. I was racing against NOMOTORLIMIT and it was awesome... unfortunately the silver overland thay had there had a burnt out reverese and they had to push me out a couple of times... but there were whoopdeedoos and steep hillclimbs, a jump, dry rivers with pebbles.... the track surface was styrofoam and the rock sides were spray foam insulation...all painted tan...there were road signs, wooden barricades, tufts of dry grass sticking up out of the road surface...they even put tires tracks in the steep parts that look like someone was really digging their wasy up the hills...it was cool

I guess it was ok but no dirt slinging action and all I saw race it were some little kids who would get stuck after going for a sec. I bet it sure would be fun with some good racers.
I think the track at the show was awesome! The track was made from soft foam and was rolled with a special rubber elastic texture. It measured aprox.8 ft. by 16. ft. Most of those using the car could not drive. The Kyosho pro drivers truly showed what this truck can do. The track builders are in California and wrok with Kyosho with some of their tracks at events in the USA and overseas. You can reach them at www.rc-parties.com. They have many more exiting tracks coming soon.
