HFAY/Big Track Race Event Saturday 5/21/11 7pm - Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti, MI - Mini-ZRace
HFAY/Big Track Race Event Saturday 5/21/11 7pm - Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti, MI - Mini-ZRacer.com
In order to leave as much time at the end of the night to join the tracks into one large track we can move the last Q up a bit and get the mains started right at 9pm. This should give us more time at the end of the night for big track racing.
Track Setup - 7pm
Q1 - 8pm
Last Q - 8:45pm
Main 1 - 9pm
Join us for another Ann Arbor Mini-Z GTG (AA GTG) on Saturday May 21st, 2011 at 7pm. We primarily run Mini-Zs (2WD, AWD, and F1s) (MR-03, MR-02, MA-010, MR-01). But if you want you can bring your DNanos, Iwavers, XMods, Micro-Ts, and Epochs, etc. Some people even bring their rc helicopters and airplanes
New people are welcome as always! Everyone is friendly and helpful and we have lots of fun!
Please bring $10 to cover the cost of the race night (one fee for the whole night of practice and racing - a great value!).
Reminder: You can now pay your entry fees online.
NOTE: Transponder rental is $3 for the entire night if you do not own one.
This is a standard Saturday Event that starts at 7pm.
It is in Ypsilanti, MI (just southeast of Ann Arbor). The address is:

Guys, I won't be able to make a design for this week. I don't have a computer with me. Just keep in mind that you should take the HFAY track and be able to join it to the Big Track.
That night sounds like we will have both HFAY and big track racing.
I designed the Big track which is converted from HFAY track12.
I believe it is easy to change the HFAY track right after we finish racing, and enjoy big track as well.
If you dislike this big track, I will redesign it so just post what you expect.
Oh this looks cool...and actuall, even that HFAY looks surprisingly good. Reminds me a little of Suzuka east
Just a tip guys. I set this layout up in my basment and it's best to stand at either end of the track so you can look down through the S section. This way you can hit each apex right on with less steering input. You should easily get I to the 4 second range for a lap.
