We are setting the entry fee to $25 per person (this covers all the races that you will enter into for the day). This is to cover the trophies and lunch for everyone on Saturday. Lunch will be baked chicken, green beans, rice, and rolls. We always have some sort of desert available.

No charge. Just let us know how many so we can make sure we plan enough.

I know that there will be at least one new guy from your area coming to see what everything is all about and my wife could likely spending the day as well so that is two. One coming from northern Jersey on Saturday so he may be too late to race but has vowed to make the trip.
Can't wait. For either the race or the chow.

Guys have been running 3D printed chassis for a few years now. Did you make that chassis Eugene?
I have a list of people that have talked about coming. That is not the same list that I posted that are saying that they are coming. The other list is up to 25 people! We will see. Ordering the trophies tomorrow. Trophies will be for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the A, B, and C mains in each class. We will also have trophies for the top qualifiers in each class. Hoping to see some hot racing in a little over a week.

Yeah, this is the first prototype. Its a work in progress, but i hope it can work. I am learning as I go.
The stiffness of the chassis actually surprised me. I thought it would have a lot more flex around the servo area, which is the reason for the full piece upper deck and servo cover. The servo motor retainer must have been lost in the polishing process for the accessories package (in yellow), without enough time to print a new one, I will need to fab something up to get it working.
This mock up has no electronics in it, still need to see if the servo can drop in.
This design is for Kyosho PCB. I had thought about using an aftermarket ESC/RX, but the supports for the upper deck will interfere with the dimensions.

When Kris gets back you should talk to him. He has made a few chassis now. He is on social media. Look up mini-z buy sell trade . He is making some useful things that he is making himself. He gets back just after our race.

I didnt know he was away. I got in touch with him, but not much feedback. This explains why
Working on this chassis has been loads of fun, basically living in an MR03 for a while I was trying to figure out how to use 3d modelling software. After I saw your post in this thread about wanting to race against lipo cars in mod, I decided to make my own
After assembly, there are a bunch of changes that I want to make to the design, but no time to get a new print. Some tolerances are really tight, and some things need to be moved. Inboard front spring perches are kind of useless, so need to keep the spring on the kingpin. I had beefed up the frame around the servo, which gives clearance issues to the lower servo cover/control arm brace. Things that are less than 1mm, but need massaging to get a good fit.
I dont think that this will be a production kit, but its moving along...
The chassis is based around the 750mah turnigy lipo. Being 25mm wide, that makes the chassis 62mm at its widest point, so only a handful of bodies are applicable.
