Thumbs up HELP "Ziesures"

Hello Everybody My Z is going crazey!!!!!!

To borrow a term, its having Zeisures.
Basicly - standing still , chassis power on - all is well. The problem occures when i turn on the tx. When I turn on the tx, the front wheels erradictly twitches left right left right etc etc. Now it was fine one minute, and Zeisures the next and still continues to do so. The Mini-Z still can be driven etc, but basicly is uncontrollable due to the erradic twitching of course.
I have chaned chrystals a few times already but does not seem to be the problem

Any thoughts!?

Check to see if your antena is securely and firmly mounted with the screw

So car is OK when TX is OFF? but not when its on?!?!?! --- thats totaly backwards... the car should be going bonkers when there is no Signal from the TX, when its off, and then it should come to attention, when the TX is flipped on.

Sure there isnt some one else on the same Xtals? .

...the screwing in of the TX antenna is not relevent... due to the fact the screw it screws onto isnt attached to the circut board.

WOOOOHOOOO!!!!!!

Well,
I took apart my servo and this is what I found.

The "thingy" that centres the servo was alittle "off" it was on its side. So I centred it and now it hardly Ziesures little twitches here and there but alot better.

I am sooo glad that my esc is [B]NOT[B] fried I have spent to much money one this mini car

This is a common mini Z sickness. That potentiometer thang. Some suggested to put a paper behind the plastic plate that attaches to the pot. This will tighten the gap, eliminate "play", which lets the pot center itself. Word!
