MR-02 Wheels, interesting questions
so my MR02 started its life as a ferrari F50, which as it turns out has a wider rear offset than most other Mr02 bodies (that I have seen thus far) and I am having trouble finding a way to determine if there are aluminum wheels that are the wide offset in the rear. word has it that the enzo has wider wheels still (2mm rumor)
So the questions are....
1) aree the enzo wheels wider (more offset, not wider) than the F50 wheels, if so, are they wider in the front too?
2) how do i make sure that i am getting the wide offset when i order aluminum wheels? do I have to order Enzo aluminums to make sure i get the wide rears?
EDIT*** The Wheels from my takata NSX for Mro2 have a MUCH narrower rear offset than the F50 wheels

I know the answer only to one question:
yes, Enzo is same offset as F50.

Being that the Enzo and F50 according to Michvin are the offset... if you see a wheel that is listed as an Enzo wheel at say, Tower, for example... then that will fit your F50.
Happy wheel shoppin!

Michvin knows that the Enzo wheels are the same as the F50. He broke one of his F50 wheels at the track, and used my Enzo wheels (which I traded with him for his NSX wheels ).
The wheels that I ordered from RCstation are the same offset as the Enzo and F50 wheels. If you goto RCstation, check the MM hopup section. You could also email the shop here, and see what wheels they have with the offset that you need.

Enzo, F50, F40, 360 are all different!
Enzo fronts are a few mm offset...
Enzo rears are VERY offset
F50 fronts are normal rims, like old MR01s.. no offset at all..
F50 rears have a bit of an offset to them...
F40 fronts have offset, like CLK... makes them hard to use on MR02
F40 rears have a big offset in the rear, but not quite big as enzo...
360 fronts are like CLK...
360 rears are like the corvette.. very offset...
actual numbers? LOL no I dont have those at this time...
In the end the F50 rims, will work on the MR02 with an F40 body.. and thats all that I care about LOL.. those two bodies are all I plan to use...
I wish I could find the F40 rims with narrower fronts, photos of one of the other ferrari prototypes had 4 narrow F40 rims.. on an MR01 body was hoping they had 0 offset... the 22b ferrar or whatever it was... but I think they totaly changed the rim the final product has (have yet to get one of these bodies).

According to the Tagu chart, the stock offsets are;
Enzo is 1.0 front, 3.0 rear.
F50 is not on the chart, but they look 0 front offset, and 1.0 - 2.0 rear.
F40 is 2.5 front, 2.0 rear
360 is 3.0 front, .5 rear.
355 is 1.0 front .5 rear.
So in conclusion, the Enzo has the widest track and wheelbase (which is why it is very stable). 360 has the next widest front (rear is 1mm wider than 0 offset)... F40 is the same if not 2mm wider than the F50 (0 offset on MR01 ~ 2.5 offset on MR02) then the 355 is the narrowest. And that raps up the Ferrari challenge.

How could I forget
I think the 512BB is an MR01... My guess would be 2.5-3.0 front offset and .5 rear.
The other is the M575 (MR02). Is the Dino MR02 or MR01?
Now when are they going to make the 288GTO!

there is alot more to the offset than antisipated, i just ordered a set of KYO aluminum enzo wheels to run with all bodies, but i need to make the rear stiff enough to not hit the rear wheel wells

Arch, I was going to email you the link I posted above to add to the offset chart. It is nice because it has pictures which makes it easier to tell which car it is compared to the Kyosho chart.
I use the offset charts in the Faq's section all the time, thanks for having it there.

It was in a post above: http://www.storfors.nu/mini-z/modeller.asp?modell=alla
Hope it has the model you need, it doesnt have all of them, but it helps to have more variety, and pics to see the wheels (so you know what they look like).
