More Le Man's style bodies?

Hello Tim. I am wondering something, now that we have the awesome vintage Porsche 917 for the Dnano, are we going to see that in 1/28 scale Mini-Z form?

Also, there are alot of other vintage Le Man's car's that we need added to the LM line up as well. It get's boring just having the Mazda 575 and Porsche 962 with various paint schemes. We need different body styles as well! Ferrari had some really cool Le Man's cars.

Also, will the gloss coat come back, or is that done for? Seems that the hand-polishing isn't as good from what I've read.

Please guy's, let's not make this into a request of AutoScales unless it specifically relates to vintage Le Man's style racing cars. Thank you!

The "Silk Cut" Jaguar and the McLaren GTR come to mind for new LeMans bodies...those would make great choices.

I have allways liked the Bently, as well as the Jaguar XJR-8LM. The XJR-9LM has the rear wheels covered, which I dont think would do well for the MR02's suspension travel.

I think that they really do need to release more LM bodies, the 3 bodies that are out now (P962 LH, P962 KH, Mazda 787B) arent enough.

For the 962 and 787's it's been suggested to epoxy the front end before racing. I agree, these two in particular are weak up front. That's why my new 787 AutoScale is staying in it's case.
For those of you with Le Man's ideas, please post a picture of the car you are speaking of. Thank you!
This is a great page showing some nice Le Man's and other vintage race cars.
Including the Ferrari 512

Yes Arch, I am familiar with those, but I'm talking about more vintage than that. Probably 60's-70's perhaps. As I mentioned in the first post, we've seen Kyosho bring out the 917 in Dnano form, but would be nice to have it in Z form as well as other car's of that era and similar design.
Cowboysir, those are good choices and I have seen some of your Lexan versions, but as you say Kyosho AutoScale would be sweeter. We've seen in the slot car world virtually every race car made and I'm sure Kyosho has some rights to certain bodies we haven't seen yet for Mini-Z.
All I'm saying here really, is we need more vintage Le Man's and GT raceing cars, and not just the most modern up to date car that's out there. Let's expand the spectrum to BOTH directions!
