*ARCHIVED* Mini-Z GTG Season (Announcements)
We have potentially laid down the dates for our next three club GTG's.
We are looking to setup in Langley (211 & 88th) on April 22nd.
Then back in Newton on May 6th & again on the 27th.
We are currently waiting to hear back if the Newton location would be willing to host us in their RV parking lot area, therefor we can run outdoors and have a nice open layout.
Keep an eye out on the forums for more info to come soon!

Next GTG:
Sunday, Aprill 22nd
This one will be in Langley.
Spencer Green
21138 88th Ave., Langley
Buzzer #: 289
>>Google Map<<
Track setup is @ 9am, Racing by 10-11am & break down for around 4-5pm.
This weeks layout will be determined at the time of setup.
I have a base to go by but we are going to try & use my adapters so we can run both 30 & 50cm track.
Most people are showing up closer to 11 or 12, come out earlier if you can to help setup or at least start running!
A small request, please try to bring the correct amount of $$ with you.
This room is larger so our layout will also be larger.
Unfortunately with the larger room comes a bit higher entry fee.
This GTG will be $10
The Club House is right at the entrance in front of you when you enter.
Press in the code #289 for the clubhouse.
Make use of any parking spot that is labeled guest & is clearly not someone's driveway.
Take my Cell # down and bring it with you in case there are any issues:

I did a 9.97 with the AWD, it really should have been capable of more but it really didn't like the bumps in the track.
The MR03 on foams did a 9.50, 9.60 or 9.70, I don't recall which one.
I know it felt pretty decent but could have been tuned to the track a little more - messing with it though is a little tough considering how nicely it runs on my home track. My driving was also off today, just not at peak performance, I am sure I missed out on a 10th of a second.

Fun day. But frustrating at the same time. Need to do a big investment in rims for both my cars and tires. Looking forward to the next meet.

Big? You need 5 dollars in rims for each car.

I didn't know you didn't have spare mr03 fronts, I could have given you something to use. The AWD you should have just kept driving - it wasn't super easy to drive but everything needed to break in, especially the diffs

A great time was had by everyone!
I'll be sure to post up the lap times and some pictures if I can get my hands on any.
I meant to take some like 3 times, but apparently I didn't take a single one!
Anyone else have any of it or ANY other of our GTG's, PLEASE contact me as I would love to get copies!
