MBMZR body/paint shop

I'm always taking pictures of these cars as Serrano and I are working on them, but never have anywhere to post them up. Figured Id start a thread here, as Ive got something good enough to share

Currently finishing up a few for the Hanna's, and a pancar for myself.

In these first pics there is no clear or black detailing. Ill get pics up later of them more complete.

Twin Moslers for Team Hanna.

Closer look at the layered stars.

This is a shot of Collin's and my pan cars.

Also, this paint is more or less complete, but I'm in development stages of my front wing I like the way the V2 mantis wing looks, but I figured every one would be getting them, so I want to customize mine a bit. I had a new front down force package that I planned to show off at our recent PN regional. It worked great in testing, but didn't last many tangles with other cars, and never made it out of practice.

For now, here are some shots of the car right before adding my proto front end parts.

My driver lost his head at the regional This is the last photo with it in tact. If youve seen him/it, please let the authorities know

Hanna moslers with black details. Next pics of them and the pan cars will be with clear, ready to mount on the chassis!

Hopefully these will turn out a little better. I'm trying to get the most out of my phone, and its a little harder to get great crisp images, as opposed to the camera. These were taken outside, and should look much better though.

Thanks Junior! The stars are pretty hot. It looks like I should have taken a little more time with them by the pics. In person those small blemishes are hardly noticable. For the price I did these bodies for though, Eric got a steal!

Ive been cleaning out the old pit station and found a box of goodies. I found the parts to an old AE86 I did a while back, so I was finally able to finish it.

Its got flip flop paint and a totally custom body kit (side skirts and both bumpers are custom jobs), and custom reverse hood scoop. I put a few more pics in the AWD pic thread if any one is interested.

I also found an RX-7 that Ive had for like 3 years, lol. I went ahead and got it mounted and put a coat of base on it.

Another mosler for Hanna. This one is a little more classic, but still has some pretty good details. I did it in a bit of a rush, since he needs to pick it up tomorrow for this weekends race in NJ, so its not the quality Id like it to be. On the other hand, with a little practice, I think Ill be turning out good jobs in shorter time very shortly.

Here are a couple of shots from earlier today.

I meant to post those earlier, but forgot. Here are a few with the black details completed, and the window installed. Ill drop it back out and throw a clear coat on it first thing in the am. Sitting all day in the hot box should have ready in plenty of time for it to be picked up in the afternoon. Ill get some pics then, but for now, here are some 'almost complete' shots.

Here are the finished pics of kromie's latest mosler. I didn't have time to take any before he headed out of town, so I just got to shoot some pics this past friday night. These are with a clear coat, but not mounted to any chassis.

Last friday I started throwing together a little paint scheme for a VDS body for the DP2 class at this months Carolina Cup race. I finished it up in just a few hours, but didn't get a chance to clear it until today. I;d say I'm getting pretty quick at masking. I just need to refine my techniques a bit for a better finished product. Right now I'm trying to get my time down, so I can do decent paint jobs on the cheap.

Masking for the final touch of black....

And after the clear.....

I put a couple of blemishes in this paint while handling it for masking details. I just went ahead with them instead of fixing them up. They are not very noticeable at all in the pics, and hardly noticeable in person now that the clear is on. The black looks good under clear in the sunlight!!!!

Today after lunch I started working on a Mosler for myself for GT at the Cup race. I didnt think I would get this far along, but it is basically done...waiting for clear.

After two different silvers, the base for the flouro and the green....

After some pink and black detailing.

The head lights need some touching up, but over all I think it's coming laong nicely.
