10%+ wouldn't be unreasonable unless they are getting a cheaper dealer price. typically you need 10% just to cover your costs. This goes a long way for those hesitant to order from foreign sites, which is very common actually. I've personally always been server well by Banggood but sometimes it's worth a little extra to know they have it in stock and you'll get it in a couple days. Convenience has it's price
I'm sure warranty would be the same as most stores. Either they tell you to return to manufacturer or they take as a return and handle themselves (the latter being a minority these days).
Well, technically is not the EX-6 and MHS/ASF system that would have a board within? While not being in a traditional module form factor, the transmitter control module would certainly have a similar electronic component I would think.
regardless, there is a market for ASF/MHS support for older plugin in module radio platforms that is simply not served by the respective manufacturer any longer. With suitable compatible parts becoming rather rare and costly to location and procure, this would seem to serve as a god send to many seeking to keep their favored transmitters.
Now, if we could just get one module that would run ASF, FHS, MHS, FHSS.... One module to rule them all!
ASF,MHS,KO FHSS in one moudle is possible, they all use CYPRESS CYRF6936 2.4G chip. FHS is just FLYSKY's AFHDS prototol, it is uisng A7105 2.4G chip. The new FHSS from FWD chassis I don't know, but since it could be controlled by Syncro KT-531P I think the ship should also be A7105.
Well, I'm sure there is money to be made in solutions that Kyosho either cannot due to various agreements or chooses not to provide. It's a real and appreciable hindrance with the various non compatible radio systems employed in the line. For example, at this moment Kyosho has no less than 4 systems in the market within the same product line. That's insane. It's clear they are pushing out FHS still leaving you with 3.
The module should be very easy to integrate into a radio such as the Futaba 4PK. Having to add a button to select between ASF and MHS isn't the best but if using an analog PPM input having all cars using ASF is likely a non-issue.
Overall it looks to be very ideal for stuffing into our favorite legacy radios.
With a bit of work, this module theoretically can be integrated into any radio, even cheap RTR radios if you gut them and connect the trigger and wheel to a microcontroller for generating a PPM signal.
I'm waiting for some parts to arrive to start such a project, so such a module is really interesting to me and I would definitely buy one or two when they become available.
