Too expensive for alloy. Check e b ay for better prices. Better off getting Delrin servo gears. Much cheaper. Also for close to that price you could get an mr-02 chassis set with the servo saver built in.

Those Cooper bodies, as I was told is rough on those servo gears.

You mention tower, so all I can say is type in [Kyosho Servo Gear] in the search box to find the stock white gears or the black delrin gears in a set. I also was told the delrin gears are a bit tight in the MR01 servo, so if you go that route check that they don't bind up.

get the derlin servo gears to temporarily solve the problem~~

and i guess u have some money to spend ($84 at least, haha~ )
so then wait for the mr015 and get a RTR or just the chasis and everything needed to convert your 01 ro 015.

I've been using alloy gears for about 2 years in my MR-01 Z.
Work great!

I have seen alloys break but only once.

didn't see your signature.... stay away from the mini-cooper body... it will eat servo gears like candy... and burn a hole in your pocket spending for them as well...

really the cooper body is that bad? eh thats what it came with so i'm stuck with it for now

I saw they had the initialD GT-s bodies on sale......how would you reccomend those, and would I be able to just put that body on my car? I'd like to have matching cars!

basically I need a new body anyway....I cracked the cooper pretty good when the servo gears went

I had an all alloy servo gear setup in one of my 01's, and it began to bind, so I mixed in some delrin gears between two 01's, and they both work way better. I'd suggest delrin, it's about as strong as aluminum, and only about 6-11 bucks for a kyosho set.
