Finally getting around to uploading a picture of how I shaved the lip on my 360GTC.

I wanted to make sure the lip was as big as possible, but also I wanted to make sure that it did not extend forward past the bumper. I have run the car 4 times and the lip has never gotten caught under the RCP rail.

May I ask if you leave the headlights empty or attach the light sockets when racing? I read somewhere that people drill holes into the rear of the body for greater downforce. Any truth to this?

Welcome to the forums...

Light buckets... Guess depends on rules of the race, that goes for other modifications on the body... As for drilling holes in the back of the body, I figure is done to let the air flowing under the body to escape faster, and not act somewhat like a parachute...

Just glue in the top clear light piece. Not the under bracket. I usually trim out the rear some for weight and let air out.

I just put stickers over the headlight holes. Aerodynamically speaking, the idea was to keep the flow of air around the body. This body was stable and really fun to drive like that.

That body is quite a bit more beat up now.

Thanks guys for your help. I'm new to Mini Z racing (in the AWD class) so this is all new to me. I've raced 1/10 touring car and 1/8 electric buggy before.
