Earlier there was a mention about another news by the Kyosho member that would be as big if not bigger than the release of this buggy......I think I know what he was talking about....

the buggy is bigger news for me than the bike. the bikes just doesn't have the legs in the market the buggy should have. dnano has already shown it's not easy by a long shot to get a club of $250 super micro rc's together.

i'm hoping for monster style hollow tires with options for inserts. i agree the overland route would not suit the offroad nature well.

You should see the bike forum on Rc groups... Bikes are actually pretty big (fir a niche part of the hobby)

Your probably right.... It's more if a Europe/SoCal/Texas thing... I'm kinda biased, living in Southern Cali where we meet regularly as part of the local race programs as well as on our own... Most other places are pretty dead for bikes

Yes, I would think it's the bike. More a mini z size bike than a dnano size(if you see the internet movie). I'm sure there is a market for it even if the price was high. I think that what makes rc bikes unappealing to many is how hard they are to actually drive them(my venom is in a shelf collecting dust)! But if Kyosho has found a way to balance it and make it stable enough to race in a limited amount of space, then it maybe worth it.

Tell me why yours is hard to drive.. I may be able to help you out... they take proper setup and a smooth hand.... that's it

I've had my wife (who has never done anything RC) run my bikes without a problem... they drive themselves if they are set up properly...

but you are right too... bikes (in the States) are so spread out that when someone buys one, usually they are the only one in miles to have one, so if they don't have te setup right, or someone nearby to get them started, the bikes can end up on the shelf...

Back on topic... I would like to see Kyosho take the buggy concept and expand to more current styles later on.. just like their current bikes that are stuck in the 80's... they need an update too so hopefully their little bike will be 'current'...

I like the classic-style buggy too (don't get me wrong) but a buggy patterned after one of their current cars would be killer!
