Do you run a wider wheel offset than standard

Just curious if anyone runs a wider wheel offset and if it makes a difference in performance?

For example: 2005 JGTC NSX body - 3.5-narrow fronts & 1.0 wide rears (for AWD) is standard. Have you tried running 2.0 wide rears?

Another example: Ferrari 360GTC body - 3.5-narrow fronts & 1.0 wide rears (for AWD) is standard. Have you tried running 2.0 wide rears?

Did you notice any performance improvements if any? Or the complete opposite (performance loss).

THANKS!

Don't know about performance, but I do know that if you go much (any) above the factory offsets for a particular body and race on RCP, you'll be shedding tires or busting suspension arms every time you rub the side rails...

I guess running wider in the rears will be less prone to flip the car.

I run 3.5 offset semiwide on both front and rear. Higher offsets in the front tend to make the car more stable but can make it less responsive in turns. At least thats what I FEEL like happens. I can't really tell the difference in the rear except I get less roll.
