..NICE!
...that is a great thread! Good stuff....
You sure you did not have West.F1 up there with you guys, he likes to "rub" while racing! hehe...j/k Abe! Looks like you guys had a fun night, for your tires, it looks like you guys run on carpet. If that is the case, order some 20 compound tires, and ONLY use them on the rear. Run the stock 50's up front. That allows the front to slide (but still turn) so that you can keep your corner speed up and not traction roll. Just what we have found anyway!

The track was tarpaper, which started out good, but got really bumpy as the night progresses...
I believer that the cold caused it to shrink and make ripples on the surface...big enough that we were catching air with the F1's and getting hung up if we stopped...momentum was the key.

I broke the front wing of my 2001 Jordan body that way, you just have to do that one time
(I was easely to fix with some superglue )

Ok, so here were my options. (a), quickly duck left, dodge the claw and take him out with a spinning back kick, or (b), take the claw in the face, roll on the ground and die...
...Hmm, should have gone with (a).

rear ending the car ahead with the jordanF1 brought flashbacks of when latency and i last raced. he has a jordan F1 too!
love the originality of the track. paint can control towers. wood plank grand stands. gotta love it!! just kidding.
you guys try racing on the pavement to see how the cars would handle?

Yeah, after all that work with the tarpaper, we cleaned up the garage (to put the 1:1 scale vehicles away) and tried on the garage floor...it was great! As long as we sweep, mop, and blow the dust off it is smooth and traction will be better with foams or something, but very do-able. Sometimes a little slip is good, it makes for cautious racing...slower, but just as fun!
