Quinny for the money you invested in that you could get a decent one for probably the same price or less
Those Batteries and charger are shot, either throw them out
or mount them on a plaque for rememberance of what not to do with
batteries when they fail

Anyways... awful quiet on this thread, actually... this whole site has been fairly quiet for a while.

I'm going down now to cleanup a bit, charge some cells. I was thinking of a track change but it's just hard to mess with perfection.

Ed, a little track change now and then never hurts.

Should be there around 9:30 or so.

Coolest name ever given to a charger... SuperBrain!

Yes Quinn, they used to be hi-tech!

Track is all ready to go, I did take a few laps in the 599 just to be sure. I would say something about the way it ran but why jinx it?

Cyall soon. Oh, and if anyone has a stock 02 tower bar they wanna get rid of, I'll take it!

Missed your calk Larry, give me a buzz tomorrow after work.

Good day as always. Sorry I wasn't pushing the races as much but I'd rather be sure everyone had time to tune. 599 was good but I do think the motor is getting tired. My F1s were terrible, must be those fancy stainless screws I installed! The track really changed today, I do intend to give it a cleanup with a wet rag sometime soon to get all the dust off. The track surface feels different to me for some reason... I think it may be the air freshener I sprayed down there a few days ago, that's the only thing different I can think of.

August 25th is the next planned date... Thread coming soon.

I forgot about the racing day until after 1:00 and by that time didn't feel like coming...lol.
Besides I ran Saturday at Singley's all day and was pretty beat by Saturday night. Finished 6th in my 1st dirt oval race in 20 years...but then again there were only 6 in that class.
Battled steering issues all day....
