I would like to share my horrible experience with Xpower. I purchased an Xpower MIT kit from ****** in September. The kit came with missing parts, the steering rack was missing. I contacted Xpower through their website and they got back to me right away and asked for my address to send my missing part. I thought wow, great customer service but, I was wrong. I got the package from Xpower in November and they sent me steering knuckles not the part I needed. I have contacted them three times now with no reply. I even offered to pay for the part and shipping so I could use this car. No reply has ever been sent.
I decided I would go through the whole kit to see if this was the only problem. It was not the only issue. There are not enough M2x4 screws to finish the kit. Also, some of the M2x4 screws have manufacturing defects and are not formed properly which makes them unusable.
I could over look the hardware as I have been a fan of this scale for years and have a decent collection of extras but, a reply would have been appreciated.
It is unfortunate as they have many things I'm interested in purchasing but, I won't now.
Buyer beware. I give Xpower two thumbs down, I'd give them more but, I only have two thumbs, maybe a middle finger too. I now have an expensive piece of junk in a box.
Very unfortunate, I replied in depth on RC Tech, but just wanted to subscribe to the thread here.
Try contacting them on social media, they might respond faster that way. Chinese/Hong Kong RC companies seem to value their social media reputation, and have moved towards the majority of their advertisement and communication to social media instead of the more conventional methods.
If you can get the exact part numbers that you need, that would also help resolve the issue if they have a communication cross up of what you need.
Please keep us updated with anything related to this issue.
