each regional race had's it's own quirks/problems or just bugs to work out... all of the early regionals were not required to follow the k/spec cell rule. was this a descision made my k. or something the regional host's were able to push? if it was a descision by k. why was it handled so poorly, why did we have to wait so long for a descision that wasn't even formally announced till somewhere between stampy's and tom thumbs?

The battery rule was posted on the Kyosho web site slightly prior to the CP regional. HDH just followed the rule.

We had no problems here with the battery rule. Everyone had them. HDH bought out what CP had in stock pretty much; so everyone would not feel left out. They ended up buying and selling over 60 sets.

That is true, Peter didn't like it either. Plus, considering Alex wasn't here to enforce a single thing, the rule probably would have be altered.

circinus,

Have you seen the photos from the race on flyxwire? And Aaron was concerned about his "keg". Please tell Peter & Christie I said hello. I also referred someone to their store so perhaps, they'll have a new "regular" customer. See you soon.
