Here's my replica of Marcus Gronholm's 2001 Peugeot 206 WRC. The decals are from a 1/24 scale Tamiya model, #24236. I picked the sheets up from Borgfeldt Canada, Tamiya's local distributor, for $15 CAD.
The wheels are Kyosho wides with a set of "show tires" bearing the Michelin decals.
There are several coats of clear enamel over the shell to protect the decals, but I have (and probably will never) race this body.
Drac, the front wheel arches and bulky inner headlight moulds has always presented a bit of a challenge for 206WRC Bodyshell owners.
There are workarounds though..
Haynes Manual: Lightly...
Reality: Start off lightly and build up till the veins on your forehead are throbbing then re-check the manual because this can not be 'lightly' what you are doing now.
Yeah, there's no way wides would work in the front without serious modification to the shell. (IIRC, even semi-wides require grinding down the headlight moulds on the inside.) It's purely a show body for now because I have plenty of other okay-looking shells to wreck up at the track. Actually, in those photos, the body is mounted on the dummy Auto Scale chassis.
I've actually been looking for a set of white five-spoke rims (kinda look like RAYS TE-37) in wides to complete the look. The decals come with a bunch of OZ Racing stickers for the spokes...

Thanks, Herman. I was actually inspired to do this body when I saw your 1999 Peugeot 206 WRC on this forum. Borgfeldt Canada, the Canadian Tamiya distributor, is just a few blocks down from my house and they were very accomodating in getting me the decal sheets. They also photocopied the instruction sheet for me.
I'm planning on putting together another one for track use.
And yeah, I'm a freelance photog based in Toronto. The above photos were shot with a Nikon D1 on a simple white seamless, using two strobes and a reflector. It was already set up for some product photography I've been doing so it was only natural to also grab a picture of my 206.
I don't know what project is next on the horizon. Maybe more WRC cars...
