This body was originally intended to be white for my duo anime project, but enamel can spitting totaled take one. After frowning for a few days, I decided to strip it and repaint it as a track car. After plenty of booze, shaking, scrubbing, and finally a new attire this babe was restored better than ever.
I'll kick off with a little teaser that surprised me at a Target a few days ago and pix of the Z will follow tomorrow.
And a lesson learned- NEVER paint acrylic over enamel if a glosscoat will be the finale. Had to scrape off the skirts and quickly repaint in silver since the glosscoat literally turned the acrylic into mush.
Thanks. I lowered the nose clip btw, stock looked like a clown and then painted it to make the overall look consistent. You can see this from the side pic where the body is clearly tilted towards the front.
