I have some of that stuff also, but it's in much smaller panels; probably like the size of magazines, or 1ft X 1ft pieces. They sort of suck because of all the "seams."

Mask the joints if it's a problem. That'll work fine. Also, on ebay, you can pick up 2ftx2ft packs of 4 for £8 posted, then another £2 for the next pack.

It needs more tire contact! Try doing doughnuts on sandpaper; that'll smooth those tires down so you can get better traction.

Now it's up and running again I put it on a Dyno. Here's the top speed. It did hit 74kph but I'm not sure if it was photographed.

This works out at 45.98 MPH.

It should run quicker next time around 'cause I'll secure the tyres on better and use some com drops and motor bearing grease.
