Yeah I'm interested, there are a couple of groups in the Raleigh area and some of those guys might be interested as well....

As for my vote, i'm torn, i love driving my own car as i know how it handles and how i setup a car and my remote can be completely different than someone elses....so i lean towards 1 but obviously everyone else likes 2.
Question, if it goes to the #2 method what about backup cars or anything in case there's serious breakage? like burning the board or something out from running for so long ;-)

I should have specified which Mike... I assumed that you would want to be on a team with club members, and we are trying not to stack our team that heavily. I was actually referring to Mleemor, since I know he is coming from out of town and might not have a team.

I would love to have you on my team, but that would definitely make us the favorites if that were the case.

I’ve never participated in an enduro and am not sure I’d want to, but wouldn’t mind being there to watch and see some of the guys I’ve raced with in the past. I’d really like to run my Zs again, but I don’t think there are any tracks/groups in the Carolinas these days.

I think that Cheeseburger wanted to farm a team. Not sure if you know him or not. Mike M. knows him and could get you in touch with him. They are both down your way.

I just wanted to double check that the PN 2.5 chassis is NOT permitted for the endurance race.

My understanding is it is not permitted.

From the rules post:

Battery: Any manufacturer aaa nimh.
Motor: Any manufacturer 3500kv brushless or 70 turn brushed motor, any gearing.
Tires: Any manufacturer rubber tires only, no silicon, no traction compounds.
Teams: 6 teams / 6 cars only, one car per team. Min. 2 drivers per team, no max. Each driver must drive for one full battery pack minimum. Teams must participate in marshalling. Car repairs must be done at pit space, not at track. Each team must provide a pot-luck food item.

I read the rules, just don't want a surprise on race day as I would run a PN chassis if I could.
