If you have a broken servo gear(3rd, the final driven gear which steer the rod). and the gear were broken becos teh teeth broken off. I have a fix for you. you only need a good hobby knife + broken servo gear (the final driven gear) + AA Glue.
It is a Fix for the last driven gear that holds the steering rod. I know some guy ve already posted on how to fix the gear once. but my idea is a bit different.
My broken teeth is on the left side of the servo gear. which I believe is the most common place for a broken gear. To replace the broken teeth, I cut out the teeth from the same servo gear but on the opposite side. In the Attached picture, the right side of the servo gear is not being used by the gearing(actually only around 30% of the teeth are used for gearing so the rest of the tooth are redundance) The picture shown the gear already fixed with the right side teeth cut out as the donor teeth. The donor teeth is shaped like a "V". It takes 2 cuts with the hobby knife. And I cut a similar "V" on where the broken teeth is. Make sure the size is about the same as the donor teeth. Then place the donor teeth in that "V" groove and drop a drop of AA glue(super strength). I also use sandpaper to sand off the rough glue a bit.
becos of the V shape the gear has a better chance of "surviving".

Hey ChaserRC, my VR's came in today. Thanks alot for the fast service
yo! great...
a hint to choose a better GPM alloy servo gear..
since that gear is made by 2 pieces of alloy, please choose the one with smooth surface on the adjoining area.
just my 2 cents.
