Will this servo saver fit the futaba s3154 servo too?
what is the partnumber for the servo saver? shop-link?

thanks!

No, it will not work with the Futaba s3154. Only works with the JR 241 or 285.

Nice job Mk2
I noticed that the left slot were the front knuckles are inserted is kind of damage, is this due to a hit or this part is wearing out with use?
Can the steering white sliding rod be swap for a carbon fiber piece?
Can it be possible to place a Teflon washer underneath the nut that hold’s the steering rod in line to accomplish a smoother reaction movement?
I guess your next move will be, to look into the possibilities of converting the actual steering system into a full ball & linkage system.
Can you provide a comparison chart between the MR-CG Vs. Inzane P-28, in order to orient us in making a decision??
I really hope that Brian come up with an AWD version soon!!!!
Thxxxxx… and happy holidays and healthy & successful 2009
Cheers

Looks good. How does it drive with the new steering link? I had a noticable increase in steering precision since there is no play between the servo saver and the knuckles. Much less play than any of my Kyosho cars.

Richard,
the holes have been filed and filled with ca glue for a few different knuckles ive tried
it runs on narrowed mini-z bushes but not in the picture,id like to try full ball link in the future.
i could do a comparison against the sinister but no p28 in my stable yet

emu,
its about the same as it was before i broke it
track test will be sunday,it seems ok on my carpet, just need to convert back to 98mm.
when i have the new kit ill do a back to back 94mm vs 98mm

Looks good MK2, seems like this will become a very popular mod for the car.

For me, precision on the bench was awesome but the servo horn flexes more than before. There is less play though, as EMU mentioned.

Replacing the G10 tierod with a carbon fiber one is possible if you have the tools, but the carbon one would probably wear out the screws holding it. You can put your own Teflon washers above and below the tierod, but the best way would be to make a Delrin tierod, which if there is enough demand, I will try for.

If anyone has both an MRCG and a P28, I'd like to see a comparison test too. I spent my cash on a new ASF AWD (yes, guess what's coming out next... ).

Hi mk2
Just spectacular. Just hopes Brian go thru all obstacles with the 4WD Version so we, 4wd lovers can enjoy an MR-CG too.
What about track test feedback??? Please write something, any thing!!!
Thanks for sharing it with us
Cheers

Quit using fiberglass parts on the production car. Although the front upper brace I could sympathize with, it gives the car a slightly softer feel.

Richard- if he can win with a Sinister he'll be able to dominate with this new MRCG.

man i thought the proto was good!!!!
managed to get a few good laps in yesterday, the MRCG is by far the best 2wd ive driven so far
the rear end feels so much more planted and under control, its very forgiving if you make a mistake, really easy to bring back up to speed and get back into the racing line 10/10 from me
still need to make a few tweeks to the front suspension to get it how i like it
(didnt have alot of time off the track)
the micro-t board worked really well for the cost of it and so simple to install too.
ive just finished making a conversion so the micro-t servo will go right in using the original servo saver making it cheaper to get the car running.
stay tuned for pics
