F355 Body on MR015 shock clearance issue.

Trying to run an F355 Challenge body on a MR015 RM setup, but the top of the shock tower is touching the body and not letting the body sit freely. Its oppressing and not letting the clips sit without resistence. Sorry for the weird explanation, but it seems like the shock tower in the middle is too tall.

Any feedback is appreciated, can't wait to run this body.

if i'm not mistaken, i believe that you run the 355 without a top shock...
hope this helps

! really? Seems very "floppy" without the top shock. I'm actually running the 355 on a wide MR02, handles great!

In any case, I dremelled out a knotch for the clearance, so it's all good now. I'm about to fabricate some true pop up headlights.

nice to hear you got it to work with the notch... i believe that's what others did if you wanted to keep the shock...

keep us updated on that pop up headlight... i remember seeing something like that done somewhere...

lol, thanks, now I don't feel so bad hacking into a perfectly good autoscale.
Wish there were spacers to adjust the offsets of the wheels, maybe its time for some delrin wheels with custom offsets. On a wide MR02 wide chassis, 0N/2W works great.
