George, nice trick with the springs to hold it in place i have seen an indexed kit that you can get for the truer, which is numbered and wont move... I think that your mod is good enough for our needs

Eugene, i got this kit for the groovers etc...my Hudy that i have for awhile now, has the mini-z adapter and does work with F-1 rims. Mine doesnt have the goover adapter piece (Hudy). Ill try it by hand with the PN groovers.

my hudy came with the adapter ...however i took mine off so it wasnt in the way!
and now i cant find the piece....so i took the groover peices and mounted it in to pn screwdriver handles! works great.....lol

the one with the tool (tire trimmer) also comes w 2 shafts 1/8 and 3/32
for slot car wheels.

I'm pretty sure its the same but I like to be 100%

Mine only came with one shaft... which I replaced with the PN.

you will need to run it off a nimh battery back or the best way would be to run it off a charger that has a motor break in setting so you can controll the volts... to high of volts will melt the tire... 2s lipo is even a bit much for the softer tires...

Thanks for the info. Can I run it off of the PN S6 chargers? And if I can what settings? I just want to make sure I know what I need if I go this route.

We used 3 cells Lipo pack to run it easy, because when you start to turn on, the tire turner draw over 7amp, it will be shut down your power supply with charger. So the Lipo pack it is easy.
