charging remote control

Hi,

I would like to charge my remote control with the build in connector. I need to know how much ampere the adaptor should be. I cannot find this information in the manual.

And is it possible to use the remote without batteries by using the same adaptor?

good question.... i heard that u can charge the remote with a 12V adapter... I'm not sure so don't try it.... I also heard that you need to make some mods to the controller b4 using the adapter... such stuff is so complex and confusing....

yes.. you can charge them with a 12V adapter... But you have to control the charge time very carefully as there are no "brains" in the controller.
To quick charge the batteries with a delta/peak charger you have to disable the "idiot diode" in the Tx.

P.S.
The term "idiot diode" means a diode that is connected in series with the powersupply to protect the device from reverse polarity DC.
In higher gurrent stuff like car amplifiers the diode is in parallel and will blow the fuse before anything else fries.

Thanks, i think i'll stick with batteries and an external charger, i'm not an electrician and do not want to fry my remote in week one.
