new minis to ship?

My LHS ordered a mini 96 for me a few weeks ago and apparently you were waiting for a new batch and It's gettign sent out this week? Any chance you can put a rush to get it out early Monday so I can use it memorial day weekend?

Oh, the shop is LI Raceway in New York.

Thanks! The anticipation is killing me!

Unless I'm misunderstanding, your LHS order would ship through the distributor, so RCP can't do anything about it. If you'd have ordered through MZR, however...strings may have been able to be pulled

The new mini-96 kits with the tall rails have been in stock for a couple of months. All our distributors have been processing their orders and they are being shipped out on schedule, within a day from the time the PO is placed. I am not sure why you haven't already received your tracks. You can contact us at tracksales@sbcglobal.net to let us know of the distributor the order was placed and someone will follow up and find out what happened.

I found your distributor and now have the PO for the order. The track is shipping out today.

ruknd, do you mind if I ask what made you decide to order through your LHS rather than direct via the MZR Shop? Just asking so that I can improve anything that you may find lacking, not meant in any sort of accusatory way or anything!

Thanks RCP! I appreciate the service. My memorial day BBQ will now be smaller...or mini sized.

As for why not the shop here, I was talking about the RCP and they were actually going to get one for Mini-Ts (but decided not to as the moni scene died as soon at it started). The manager sort of said I can get you one and ordered it. I race there every Friday all year and all weekend when the weather isn't nice. I kinda felt obligated, if you know what I mean. If i wasn't put in that position I would ahve probably ordered from here.

Not to worry, though it is tough to get answers from the shop here at times, orderign has always been hitch free and quickly shipped.

Cool, thanks, like I said, I only meant it in a "how can we improve ourselves?" way.

just a suggestion

@ mini-z, i have a suggestion... this is coming from a new fan in the mini-z market... to me, i would be more inclined to order from a place that shows a picture of the produce looks like... this way i know for sure i'm not ordering something i don't want... again i'm a newbie and don't know this part for that part or the names of parts that i need, but seeing a picture of it would help greatly... if this is in the works already then i can't wait to see the result... keep up the good work...

pictures in the shop...hell why didn't any of us think of that?

RCP...the track rocks, yes the surface is a bit better than fat mats but the fit and finish is what brings it over the top.

ct-mini, we're working on it; take a look at our new site, halfEIGHT.com to see what's in store (no pun intended!)!
