I will work with Gary to try and set a firm date. I will post something hopefully this week. Glad to see that some out of towners want to come.

How does November the 16th sound? October is looking pretty full already from the scheduled dates that Ray sent me.

We have a local Chic'fila that will be sponsoring the race.

Looking to have three classes: All classes must use non-silicone rubber tires. No traction compounds allowed. You will see below that we are trying something new to open up the rules to allow any hop-ups and any manufactures brand of cars in the Mod classes.

1) Pro Stock. You have to run a kyosho or PN chassis, use a 3500 or 70 turn motor, use 4 AAA nickel batteries, no Lexan bodies. Use all the aluminum and aftermarket parts you want to run!

2) 2WD Mod. If you run 2'c lipo batteries you can only use a 3500 motor. If you use 4 AAA's you have to run a 5500 or faster motor.

3) 4WD Mod. Same battery rules as the 2WD class.

2 rounds of 5 minute qualifying and 8 minute mains.

Tell us what you think
This is the classes we are thinking to run.

There is a midwest championship race in Michigan on November 16/17 which a bunch of us are planning to attend.

Murder Town has moved their race date to 11/23 to accommodate.

For classes, would the AWD be restricted to the same 3500kv motor limit with 2S lipo as the 2wd class? I think most of us are running with 5000-6000kv motors in these aftermarket cars.

I would say yes just to keep the rules simple.

On the November date, I find it hard to believe that there is going to be any issue with our clubs. I also know that we are not going to be able to please everyone.

It would have to be pushed out into the beginning of Dec. Would that work?

I am fine with whatever you want for the AWD class, if you want to restrict motors, I will just need to swap it. (I currently run a different sized motor by x-power 5000kv, but it needs a different mount for the chassis).

As a reminder, there are 5 Saturday's in November this year. I know that there are at least 5-6 racers from the region going to the Michigan race which is why I brought it up.

We have not talked about a time yet for practice. I am sure that Gary will have the track open on Friday. Yes, we will be having this race at our normal track.
