I was trying to order some tires yesterday from the Kenon website and went to pay via my Paypal and got booted/re-directed to a page that was a dead end? Should I just pay via my CC?

Several times last year, and today, I tried to make Mini-Z purchases at Kenon using Paypal. Each time it failed with this... "PayPal Payment Pro error: Merchant not enabled for reference transactions". I wrote Kenon about it and they didn't give a rip. They also won't ship to a PO box.

I always use paypal and never had an issues. I also always go through and the checkout way and select the paypal option. I don't use the paypal checkout button that is displayed in the cart, Maybe that's the difference?

I have always gotten the same issue. To get around it you can not click the very first PayPal logo, instead click proceed to check out. Then on the next screen you will select log in. If you are already logged in then select the type of address you are ordering to, residential or business. Then click proceed to shipping calculation at the bottom. Select your shipping method. Now on this next screen there is a pay with PayPal option at the very bottom. When you click this it will allow you to pay with PayPal. Hope this helps.

If it were my business I'd be concerned how many sales the store was losing because of this bug in the site software. The people reading this thread now know the work-around, but the rest of the US does not.
Fair assumption. I never knew there was a problem simply because I've always used the checkout pathway. PayPal quick buttons have been problematic for many sites so I rarely ever use them and go through the full checkout process and select PayPal that way. I would hope it igets addressed either way though. Never good to have broken checkout links.
