Grip looks surprisingly good. How much setup work did you have to do to get them to handle like that? How hot did the 33t get with the 14t pinion. I would think that the 35t may be a better option geared up like that, should have more torque... The slight decrease in RPM shouldnt make as much of a difference. I think that would be a fun class
didnt have to change my set up at all! at first i ran pn carpet tires but the grip was so much that it pulled the tires off the wheels! the ca glue just wouldnt hold them on! so i ended up using pn rcp 20 fronts and kyosho 20 radial rears cause that is what i had in my tire box that were used....
heat was not a problem....i didnt have my temp gun but by the touch im gonna say that it was less then 100 deg!
the problem with the motor we ran was it was topped out about 2/3 of the straightaway a 35 would have been topped out alittle earlier i think....
Nice wide-open layout, carpet track -- driving looks great, Grant! Bring out all the carbon-fiber chassis and go SUPER MOD with LiPo/LiFe and handwound motors. And fight with the 1/12's.
Looking good.....arent there 1/24 serpents in Socal for you guys to beat.....
I dont know if you seen the new 1/18th pan cars BRP Speed Merchant
Brown Engineering and Exotek....Im sure you can give them a run for the money as well........
