015 or 020

My lhs has 015 chassis sets and I am wondering if should buy that for drifting or should I get the 020 when it's in stock?
I think you can make the 015 to an 020, is this right? Is there any major differences between the 2?
Also I imagine more bodies fit the 015 that 020 or do they both take same bodies
Any advice appreciated

You have this posted in the MR-015 forum.

Are you comparing the RWD MR-015 and MR-02, or the AWD MA-015 and MA-020?

If you are just drifting, any AWD chassis will be fine, just keep in mind there are IMO more nice-looking drift bodies that use a narrow front end and 90mm wheelbase, so if you get a MA-020, you should install the narrow front anyway. I believe the AWD chassis should be compatible with all bodies, not certain if DWS rear end can go down to 90mm wheelbase though.

Drift tires are a must, everything else is optional although a spool rear diff makes things much easier to control.

If you are actually keen on drifting with a RWD chassis, it is very difficult to control and there is not really enough steering angle. A MR-03 with a gyro installed may be your best bet.

with the new front on MA-020 I think that would be your best option.
But then again, there are plenty of hop-ups for MA-015 so it might not differ.
I would get the MA-020 just because of the new servo and electronics.

It's the same servo internals.

I don't think the electronics are much different unless it's an upgraded VE system.

I think 020 would be a good option though...if you can drift you can drift pretty much anything so an 020 would also give you a more recent and competitive racer if you ever get into that.
