Byebye's Mini-z adventure!

This is as the title states a new thread that I'm going to dedicate to me . I will be traveling across the US and across the big atlantic pond. In my travels I hope to meet up with forum members to run cars at the various tracks. I will update this thread throughout my travels so stay tuned.

Byebye, I want to make clear that this will be all for fun if we do the race. This will give you an opportunity to live up to your name . I look forward to meeting you. You seem like a cool cat, with no b.s.. Don't be surprised if I have an exclusive prototype for you, since I'm currently working on the V.4.
I would have never expected anything more than that and look forward to runnin cars with you and others that can make it.

By the way, just let me know 2 weeks ahead of time when you're coming down. I'm also preparing for the "World's Fastest RC" event, coming 06/05/05 in Irwindale, which means schedule will be tight. Basically, mamba brushless has been phased out. I'm already working on a much faster motor with more juice than the X motor. This is on a 1/24th scale, btw. Oh, and 13 cells. This event will be my final run, so people can remember the name NOMOTORLIMIT
I will let you know and that's too bad I won't be around to see that!

We will be passing through PA but not on a Sunday or Thursday. When I actually pass through it will be a travel day. Shoot me an email through the forum. I might be able to come up on that weekend some time. I heard from chuckyluv there was a shop up there. It's possible we could swing through.

I ckecked out the website. It's on the weekend I will be in Bakersfield, CA. I didn't know it was in Anaheim, CA. Kinda sucks I would love to go. I told my wife about it and she said it would be bad news for the both of us! My travels across the us only have day stops in NM, AZ, then Walnut,CA up to Richmond, CA for the majority of my leave.

It is possible that during the week I could head over to LV if you have the time. My family and I could stay with my wifes friend there.

@Roger- We will have to meet up when I'm up in Richmond. I can head out to your track and/or meet up at club 28 in the bay area.

OK peeps. This weekend I would like to head up to rcoufitters of hanover PA this weekend. It would be myself and family in tow, arch2b and his boy and Chuckyluv and possible his fam. From the info I got from Chuckyluv they race 1/10 scale on saturday so it may just be a meet and greet. The next day (Sunday) we will also be having my last DC GTG. All in the area are invited.

it's going to be a fun weekend we have to go out with a bang , being byebye's last gtg and all

i was checking out rcoutfitter's website and it looks like we dont have much of a chance to race it would depend on the locals and their race times. i would naturally suggest swapping days but they are closed on sunday

byebye..does hanover PA have a z track? The new 1:1 car needs a road trip and what better than a trip to run 1:26 cars . I wonder if we can finalize some track time...hmmm...

your xc trip has me jealous...I did it about ten years ago after college and would reccommend the national parks...they are not in the most convient of places so a drive xc is teh way to see them. Badlands and yosemite are my favs.

Well, I guess the NY/DC gtg will be on pause for a bit....

Darn wonder what to do now? I think I would do a 2 hour drive if I knew I was going to be racing but 2 hours to make a purchase is not worth it IMO. I don't have an interest in going down to Stampys since your track is so close by.

@ruknd@aol.com- I'm not sure if it's the same distance down to MD but you are welcome to come down.

We may have to just do a Saturday/Sunday GTG or Just Saturday. Or maybe hit Stampy's on Saturday then MD on Sunday. I'm checking out stampys sight now to try to convince myself to drive down there.

ny is just a pain to get to it's close enough to drive but tolls and driving in the city make it a loosing battle. it sucks really because i can drive to florida for about the same cost to drive to ny. plus, anywhere more than say 2hrs means it's not going to be a day trip.... i for one would still like to make it to ny but it's a logistical headache when you have more than just yourself to plan for.
