Definantly get an H plate first. I'd follow that up with bearings and an X-Speed/A-BB and a ball diff.
Then start doing alloy stuff

Alloy knuckles, delrin servo gears, alloy tie rod, alloy motor mount, Roll shocks, Oil/Top shock. Tires.

Just make sure you get an H/O plate first, it will break.

38 bucks for alloy wheels is a ripoff, You can get topcad alloys for 15 bucks, and I doubt they'll bend any easier. Alloy wheels shouldn't be at the top of your mod list anyways

My comment was made more jokingly than anything else I just couldn't resist seeing it was a Skyline just like his. Certainly DON'T waste any money on wheels as a first upgrade, I don't think many of us out there did. Kajoq's recommendations are right in-line with what most of us did when we first got our Z's. After having mine for over 3 years, they're pretty optioned out, so spending the extra cash that I've saved by not buying anymore option parts was easy to let go on some REALLY nice wheels.

I bought them purely for athstetics, as their detail and quality are worlds above anything TopCad or GPM will ever put out, plus they fill out the fenders more. I probably won't do much racing with them though, since I own many sets of TopCad and GPM rims for bashing around with.
