RCP - A Query if You Wouldn't Mind?

Hi, I have found some similar information regarding what I am about to ask but not the exact answer, so hope you don't mind another!
I am based in the UK and have been looking into purchasing some RCP, However I just wondered if you could clear a slight confusion up on the Kyosho branded version of your track? It is in reference to the last two layouts on the following page - no's - 87051A/B and also 87051. In my 2006 catalogue it only lists 87031, 87031-1 and 87051. I'm guessing that the A/B allows you to add 50 size tiles to the 30 size as it roughly says (even though it lists a full 96 mat set) but the 87051 is the full kit and that they have just got the wrong picture showing for it's layout size (as the description lists aprox 6mx4m of space needed but the pic shows the same size as the 30cm track)? I just wanted to be 100% sure what came with the set numbered 87051, as my local dealer cannot find out from the rep over here! Phew!

Kyosho Product Page

Many thanks for your help, Jonny.

I started to reply to this but that kyosho page totaly sucks and is confusing... just remember RCP has not yet released any 30-50 adapter tile sets yet... but that is in the works.

87031 = 30cm tile sets

87051 = 50cm tile sets

Jonny,

87051A/B is a mistake on the Kyosho, Japan website. I will have them fix this ASAP.

87031 contains all 30cm tiles. Each kit contains 72 straight tiles + 72 straight rails (1/2" tall) + 12 outside corner tiles + 12 outside corner rails + 12 inside corner tiles + 12 inside corner rails. Some of the straight rails have the Kyosho logo printed on them.

87051 contains all 50cm tiles. Each kit contains 72 straight tiles + 72 straight rails (1 1/8" tall) + 12 outside corner tiles + 12 outside corner rails + 12 inside corner tiles + 12 inside corner rails. Some of the straight rails have the Kyosho logo printed on them.

87031-1 is an expansion kit for the 30cm track (87031). This kit contains 24 striaght tiles + 24 straight rails(1/2" tall) + 36 blank tiles. With this kit you can increase the lane width or make your existing track longer.

We have manufactured other kits for Kyosho, Japan including large radius inside turns and 45 degree sections, but I am not sure where these kits are available and where they can be purchased overseas. If you like, I can get this information for you and also any Kyosho, Japan part numbers for ordering.
Let me know.

Thumbs down RCP, thank you!

Hi Guys,

Many thanks for your help.

@ Drac - Between the '06 catalogue and Kyosho Japan's site, it wasn't clear exactly what they were selling as you well know Thanks for your input though and I'm really pleased to have the info now.

@ RCP - Thank you very much for your help on this one, I just wanted to be clear on what I would be ordering. I realise that there can be some translation issues now and again. I've been looking into some of your fabulous track after running on it for quite a while at a club which I travel to every month which is about a 375 mile round trip. It would be great to get some practice in between sessions! I haven't decided on where to buy from but my lhs isn't exactly too knowledgeable and doesn't seem to be able to obtain info easily. A friend of mine from the US who is stationed over here at the moment has an FPO 'AE' address which he has kindly let me use to help with shipping issues to the UK - Is it possible to order an amount of track - I'm looking for anything from 25 tiles up to two wide L's in size from you to be shipped there?

Thanks again, Jonny.
