Neodymium Motor Magnets, In the Shop soon (yes mine)

I am pondering trading off the last of my magnets to the MZR shop here...
I will no longer be selling them... wont have any left to sell .

I've been selling them for about 10$ a pair... lately that also included shipping...

Mini-Z might have to charge more/less or so... for him to make a worth while profit on them... no idea... so I guess I am askingl

What they are still worth to any one?
Would any one buy them if the shop charged 11$ per pair? before shipping (shipping is free after 100$ is spent) 11$ is a good way to knock your cart contents upto 100$ .

Would any one trust the shop more than me to buy them from?
Especialy since you can add them to other orders?

What if they were part of the MZR motors? already installed into motor cans and what not?

Any other Ideas?

This was brought on by me needing money (as I posted in another post)... so hes sort of helping me out by doing this, so hopefuly ppl wont mind paying a bit more if they go through the shop isntead of me. I have not been shipping fast enough lately, too slow, so I am basicly giving up selling things... it was fun for a while now its boring LOL, I wasnt exactly making any money doing it, infact I think I lost a lot LOL...

Drac, call me dumb but I just never looked into Neo magnets. They go in the motor right? lol. Can I upgrade a Xspeed with Neo Magnets and not need a FET stack? After all this time in the hobby, and a couple PCBs later I still don't have fets, lol.

I have never used fet stacks in my own Z's... never... only a few experiments, that I did not like so I resored them back to stock... and yes as far as I know they can be placed in ANY 130 motor they fit in, with out increasing the amerage load...

When it comes down to it, its like puttin ga gear box on your motor... when adding neo... it DOUBLES the torque... but reduces top RPM a little.. this is actualy a good thing, cuz going faster at less RPM will let the motor last longer, and let you gear it so it can go faster and what not... but again its not a newbie hopup.. reason I cant sell them so easy... its for those that know what they are doing... and why they are installing them.

My magnets cost more cuz they are higher quality and withstand mroe heat than the other "mini-z" magnets out there, ive seen the others nickple plating just fall off, if this happen while it was in a motor it would destroy the armature... kill the motor... but then I have only been told by 3 diff ppl that the other brands have had this happen (one of them tried to claim it was my magnets lol, but the color painted on them was different, and he admited they were another brand). lol...

any way they are ideal for any one that can cram a huge pinion on their motor... still trying to get the shop to stock smaller spur gears, and larger pinions to be included with the magnets, as a set... it would be like a mechanica fet upgrade... but its still not been done lol... so basicly fet it, neo it, regear it, and multi-cell your Z. and you will be hauling...

Also vote honestly, voting for the 5$ thing, might discourage him from ordering them from me... sigh... lol.

And... yes they go INSIDE the motor they are the same size and shape as the stock ferrite magnets (wich are like refrigerator magnets that dont stay ont he fridge, in comparison to neo)

They are not tiny disks like the squat magnets...

I am looking at getting 3 sets plus a ball bearing motor can. I have done a lithium-ion chassis and I want to get all the power I can out of my xspeed motor. I am going to do a 2X2 fet stack on this chassis also.

it's nice to hear that someone other than me isn't into the FETs but is still huge into Mini-z as you have obviously been Drac

A hop-up that isn't simple beginner stuff... wish I would have known this before you shipped off my package, I may be getting some of these off of you (or the shop, whoever is selling them at the time) and try this one. A little more torque is always nice Bet it is nice in the monster for wheelies.

7-8 bucks sounds right here because it gets the cheap magnets separated from the good ones. As I've heard, Dracs neo's are much better than the competition!
