Well, rumors abound after this weekend's RCX show, but here are some facts:
The new iWaver US site will be at http://www.iwaverusa.com.
The New '02:
Single-Piece Fiberglass (no H-Plate) w/ isolated vertical and horizontal rear suspension.
Separate Servo with Servo-Saver.
Length: 4.9 in (125mm)
Width: 2.8 in (71mm)
Wheelbase: 3.66 in (93mm)
Motor: 130 size
Fully licensed bodies, available in 6 colors each (correlates to frequency):
Ford GT (available at launch)
Saleen S7 (available at launch)
Ford Mustang GT and more (release TBD)
The New '04:
Single-Piece Fiberglass Chassis.
Dual A-Arm Front Suspension (allowing independent movement), Rear Pivot with isolated vertical and horizontal movement.
3 Speed Transmission.
Length: 7.5 in (190mm)
Width: 5.2 in (133mm)
Height: 2.3 in (59mm)
Motor: 130 size
Red and Blue bodies available at launch, eventually expanding to 6 colors, correlated to frequency.

hm.... so that thing at the auto show was the new 02 then? *shrug*
on the other hand, the single-piece thing means that the 02 is now like the ABC-DTM... it'll need separate springs, then?
personally i would've liked the new iwavers to accept 180 motors
and the 04 gets a three speed transmission? transmissions are that small...?

The car actually had a separate micro servo.... like a mini T with a steering rack... the one they had on display was a full-option carbon fiber one that I wasn't allowed to take pics of.... but I DID manage to get this crappy pic of the new 02 chassis in it's box.

yup.. that's te stock setup... I think the options may be oil shocks or something... but the way they are mounted is stock

That pic isn't stock, all the alloy parts are hop-ups, but yes, the roll-type shock is stock, the new 02 has separate vertical and horizontal damping.

well if you look at the in-box pic i posted above you'll see the alloy steering rack... but you are right... the knuckles and other parts are aftermarket..
but that is still not the FULL-option car... that one was all carbon like a pro-Z

does anybody know what the price of the new 02/04 is going to be? these products want to make me get a iwaver...
