Soldering question for 2.4ghz FETs

Can I solder the legs of the FETs facing the rear of the board together for the ASF board? The AM/AD board was no problem I just want to confirm.

YES you can solder all the fets along the rear of the board together>>>

I think I read about your club possibly going to the PN 70T.

FYI... A single stack will run faster on the PN70t than a double stack

When I say single I mean 4 chips.. 2 on top and 2 on bottom.

When I say double 4 on top 4 on bottom..

Since we're on this topic, what is the rough range of mod motors a stock 2.4 board can handle?

i ran stock 2.4 pcb with Atomic Stock-R before on AWD, the only problem i faced was the board will shut down once a while and after mild to hard impact to the RCP track.

after fetting, no more shutting down.

I've been running a 31t spiral handwound in my ASF, but the initial punch is a bit softened from what it *would* be like with a 2x2 stack of 4562's or 8858's. Great for Mod 2WD, I'd say.

Has everyone here have the same experience? I feel that my 70t feels slower with my single stack (4 FET) 2.4 board than it did with a triple stack (6 FET) AM board. Should I not add another stack to my 2.4 board then?
