Overland Gpm Alloy Parts
I think the pictures say it all. Definitely a piece of eye candy but it's gonna take some work to seal it up as well as the stock plastic gear box!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

thanks for the pictures. how hard would it be to make a rubber or foam gasket i wonder?
one question- do the stock pillow balls fit in the pod or do you have to get gpm screws as well?

Stock Pillow balls are a direct fit. The only screws that are not a direct swap are the 2 screws that hold the gear diff cover, they are included with the alloy cover.

It's a long story, but the short of it is, bribes and blackmail!

Hey!!! Are you the one who outbid me!! LOL
I was the first to find and bid on the one that stellamodels had on e b a y... but, someone named like jrbubba outbid me I've been trying to get one, and stellamodels said that they have been getting told "this week they're coming" since, apparently.. the Chinese new year. Atleast, this is what they told me.
Definately would be a part worth getting, i busted mine up... bad. I ended up having to buy another stock one due to GPM's slow-ness . I despise you!!! haha J/K. Man, I have 20fets in my overland right now.. and a 14t gear on the way.. lol... im going to need all the alloy I can get. I recently ordered wheels, damper mounts, and tie rods...
I broke the rear gearbox, and the 2 damper mounts.. dont ask how. The gearbox cracked around the pillow ball mounts, badly... and the lower arm underneath, the pillowball mount broke in half, the front damper broke off at the pillowball, and the back one cracked right between the 2 shocks on the top. It was a tragedy HAHA. Especially, when I went to glue it... and the glue exploded, and seeped down into the Z and glued the switch to the Off position. Great.
More work ahead of me, also ordered a full blue screw kit, pink or red or whatever they call it chassis and servo skeletons.. Also, one of these times I'll send a pic of my trailer... the one with the 22" chromes on it LOL. The came off of a dub city escalade .
Later.

Alloy drive housing
DAMZer,
Excellent pics and review.
I'm in no hurry for one just yet, but it is a part I will consider for the future.
I await your suggestions on sealing the beast.
