I was reading the latest RCCA and it had a mini/micro shootout section. I was reading what they said about the mini and it said it bounced around on textured carpets in stock form. The carpet i plan on driving on is slightly textured. What hop-ups will help the car drive better on this surface?
wedge has a point, i have an alloy bulkhead and i first bought it for eye candy reasons, but after putting it on and driving around, i noticed i have a much better handling car. the cornering capabilites are much more predictable and the cars seems to have more traction at the front. i think this is all due to the fact that the added weight has promoted more stick and the car weighs more evenly now.
The biggest down fall I can see in having a alum bulkhead might be uneven weight, to heavy a front will result in spinning of rear tire during take off, or skipping on the rear when enetering a tight corner..I like what a alum bulkhead can do for a car and have seen first hand the amazing handling with one placed on, but make sure you have some equal weight front to rear and you should be ok
