Alloy chassis available?

Dear all,

anyone knows if there exists any alloy chassis (the housing for the battery) for overland? I found out that my original chassis starts to break near to the part where the rear damper mount is connected to the chassis. Its made of plastic but alloy one will definitely be durable. Can anyone give advice?

Thanks very much

no such thing exists, sorry. you'll have to buy a new chassis kit to replace it. there are clear and various colored clear chassis's available though

Thanks arch. From the gallery I saw that you have some coloured chassis fitted on your overland. From your experience, which one is more durable, the original grey colour chassis from the box or the coloured one? thanks very much.

Not just the Overlands, but all Mini Z's the stock grey chassis I think is stronger. The clear ones look cool, and also let you see inside if you have something hung up inside it. All my Z's I run the clear chassis on, so I know that they crack easier than the stock ones. I have replaced them a few times.

i've never had to replace a clear chassis, ever. and' i'm not exactly easy on my overlands or monster either . i don't know why but i prefer the clear chassis on all my z's when possible. for the most part i wait until something breaks to replace the stock one.

the clear servo pods for the overlands are also cool! i think i've replaced only one of those.
