Iwaver Problems

Hello! I need Help....
I just got a new Iwaver..... and I have the following problems...

1. THe stickers are falling off....
2. The body had a defect..... My wheel kept hitting the body... So the body was limiting the degree of the turn....
3. I had to take the head light off so that the wheel can increase it's turn... However, one wheel still turns a little more than the other..... and yes I tried to adjust the wheel with the knobs and steering control on the transmitter...

Does any other member here have/had these problems?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I decided to open everything and put it all back together.... I tighten up the wheels and put the body back on.....It seems to be much better.... It still might be turning a little bit more towards one side..... However when the knob is in neutral it goes straight.... Is this common with Iwavers??????

I think but am not sure but the Iwavers come with the same wheel offset regardless of the body. It could be possible that a different set of wheels would fit better. Which readyset?

My Lancer Evo had the same body problem, a few scrapes with a x-acto knife inside the right front fender well took care of it. Yes the decals peel and scrath very easy.....all the better to remove them and put on some cool custom paint!!!!!

Some of the quality issues you are speaking of have been typical complaints with the 01 Iwavers. Assembly quality has improved on the new GT40 and Porsche Carrera 01 cars.

I had a problem with the audi TT interfereing with the wheels turning too. I opened them up for my offroader anyway so it was ok after that. Byebye had a good point on the offset though. Some Iwvaers do come with different width wheels front and rear but they have the same offset. The Mercedes has some clearance issues too so I think its a good idea to look at different width and offset wheels.

The appearance of the Iwaver (on older models, ones other than the new GT40, and GT Concept) have been quite lackluster... I expect that to change but it does mean that you are going to experience crappy stickers instead of decals or painted logos... as for the wheel rubbing i've seen it on the Evo as well, and dremeling a little bit of plastic away fixed that problem. Sorry to hear that you are having poor experiences with your first Iwaver, it's the price you pay for getting what you wish was a perfect Kyosho copy.... when the IW-02 comes out they expect to bypass Kyoshos quality...we'll see about that one.

THank you all for the help!

I got the Red Mitsubishi Lancer... I was a little unhappy with the quality at first...after I pulled off the light with some pliers and then opened the car up and put it bact together I started to realize that the car wasn't that bad after all... The turning got much better!

Yep..... I can't compare it to a Kyosho Mini-Z... that wouldn't be fair....

Today I started playing with it again and I'm starting to really like it!

I am already thinking about getting another one.... I will look for the GT40 Model or Porsche Carrera 01 cars.
which you guys recommend....

I already have a Kyosho SE and it's my favorite truck.... However, I can't afford another Kyosho....

Now I can't wait for the MRO2 Iwaver... Does anyone know what the cost is gonna be like and when it's going to be out?

Thanks for the Help!
