Question regarding Shell

Good morning, evening,or just X,

I have had my Mini-z for around a year now and it has been a blast.. but now I am looking into upgrading it with a new body and wheels... I have the NISMO Silvia R-Tune MR015 RM....http://www.rceasy.com/wp-content/upl...03_main_lg.jpg I was wondering if anyone knows of a Racing shell that would fit this car... i love the Countach LP500S (black) and my fav is the AUDI R8 LEMANS but they don't fit it, nor do any of the Aston Martin shells.. I -believe- the wheel width is 90mm. I would greatly appreciate your help on this subject!(also I would be willing to pay about $10 or $15 on a wheel length kit, but the total (shell+kit needs to = $50)

Sincerely,
usp2333 -Silva-

BTW; how much does it cost to get FET's 3 stacked by someone?

It's unlikely you'll find anything other than used gear for your price outline.

I'd suggest a thread in the Buy Sell Trade section

If your chassis/body are 90mm now, couldn't you just move the t-plate and make it 94mm? 94mm is a good racing length and lots of bodies available.

Your MR-015RM is a 90mm wheelbase car, you are correct, but it can easily be made into a 94mm wheelbase car just by unscrewing the T-plate and moving it from the middle set of holes in the bottom of your chassis, to the rearmost set of holes. This will turn it into a 94mm wheelbase car, and from there you have a lot of options with regards to finding a racing-type body. The Ferrari F430GT and 360GTC are great racing bodies in 94mm, as well as the Lexus SC430.

wow.... I've looked at the underside of my car before, to see if the T-plate would move.... I just looked at it now and there are more notches XD, weird how you just miss something.... anyway thanks a lot for the info I greatly appreciate it! -Also my favorate body in the whole world is the ASTON MARTIN Racing DBR9 as seen here- http://www.saltlakemini-z.com/Zen_Ca...o/MZP212L9.JPG -the only thing is, that is for the MM MR02.. will that body or another astonmartinracing body fit my mr015 (that is now 94mm long)

Sincerely,
usp2333-Silva-

(BTW ill pick some of my favorite shells and ask which ones you all like best!-)

I've had both those and I'd say the NSX has a bit more performance and durability over the DTM.

Alright.. Finally I have my top pics (car shells) for the MR015 RM (94mm) but I still have a favorate! The AUDI R8 LMS... it looks great and has huge width on the tires (I like that because I drive on dusty wood ).
Silver- http://www.rcmini-z.com/images/htm_k...3/57013_d1.jpg
Red- http://www.kenonhobby.com/assets/images/mzp419sr.jpg

So my reason for asking this is, I dont want some fancy Aluminum frame mount that costs one million dollars (I'm exaggerating I know)
All i want is the stock plastic MM mount that will fit my MR015! all of the aluminum mounts cost round $16 to $32 since the R8 is MM, do any of you know where I can find a cheap MM?(maby even used but in good shape(sturdy)).

Thank you for your input!

Sincerely,
usp2333-Silva-

The autoscale body comes with stock front clip and wheelset in appropriate offsets.

Sorry.. I know I'm sounding really dumb right now, but what do you mean?

1. that it comes with a MM motor mount?(that would be totally amazing!)
2. or that the rims come with a appropriate width (that I know).

CLARIFICATION: I meant where can i find the cheapest MM motor mount?

You are looking for Kyosho part number MZ204. Quite likely available through TinyRC, our forum benefactor. Access to them is at the top of this page.

Ah...I totally misread that.

I have an extra 98mm alloy mount that'd do you if you have motor with screw holes for mounting....super cheap if you want it.

Pm me if that works for you.

The Audi R8 body I think you are referring to is made for the MA-015. If you buy the autoscale version the wheels that it comes with won't fit your MR015.

Is this guy correct? If he is, what would be "the problem"? and how could I fix the problem.
