I am pretty good at unsoldering and soldering FETs. However, I got two damaged boards from a fellow racer. One or more pads are missing on these boards. How can these boards be saved?
The missing pad on the motor side can be fixed with a aftermarket turbo. I would say to get a nelly for it but since they are not being made, get a spider. For the Spider, all you need are all of the inner FET pads.

You can repair both of those. For the pads that are on the out side you could use a nelly or a spider, or you can solder on fets and have a wire connecting the out side onto the motor pad. For the one with the inner damaged pad you'll need to expose the wire leading to the pad and solder to that. I'll anything that you don't wana fix, so thats always another option. ^_^ GL man
The output side is no problem... all those feet can be connected, even on turbos. I usually put a fat wad of solder on the back of my turbo stacks. The one on the forward side might be a little trickier, but I've done a few of them in the past.
